Ubisoft Announces Monster Burner

Earlier this month, Ubisoft told the public about Monster Burner, a new app game to be released on the iPad meant to take advantage of the device’s precise touch-based input.

SAN FRANCISCO – November 3, 2011 –Today, Ubisoft announced the release of Monster Burner, an exciting, action-packed arcade game suitable for the entire family. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the game is available exclusively for the iPad today on the App Store.

Designed and optimized specifically for touch-based controls, Monster Burner combines frantic arcade pacing with addictive puzzle-solving. Players are tasked with protecting their castles by blasting waves of invading hordes of monsters with an arsenal of ferocious fire spells. Players collect coins to equip themselves with more powerful spells to annihilate increasingly dangerous monsters in a range of extreme environments and follow progress and compete for dominance on the leaderboards, comparing scores with friends and the Monster Burner community at-large.

A just-for-kids mode is also included, offering up simpler challenges – but with the same intuitive gameplay and high-paced action.
