Fresh off a PC release of Turok Dinosaur Hunter, developer Night Dive Studios is ready for more pre-historic action.
Reported by GameZone and tweeted by the developer, both the original Turok and its sequel, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, are being remastered for the Xbox One console.

Both titles were originally released on the Nintendo 64 in the 90s and were met with critical and consumer acclaim. Granted, the 90s were a different time where this human on dinosaur violence was expected. Today, shooters are all about conspiracies and global warfare.
At the time, the franchise was, believe it or not, once viewed as one of the premiere console based first-person shooters on the market. Since then, the Halos and Call of Duties of the world have taken over, but the Turok titles offer a distinct change of pace from the “traditional” shooters on the market today.
December’s Steam release of Turok Dinosaur Hunter has been met with universal acclaim, meaning that Xbox One owners are in good hands for the upcoming re-releases. As for PlayStation 4 owners, Night Dive says that they are still evaluating other options at this time.
