Tom Clancy’s: The Division Open Beta Hits Xbox One First

the division

Ubisoft just announced that Xbox One gamers will get a one day head-start on Tom Clancy’s: The Division open beta. The open beta will begin on February 18th on Xbox One, where as PlayStation 4 and PC will get it on February 19th. Unfortunately it will only run until February 21st. So get in and play if you are interested in purchasing the game. The closed beta went fairly well, but there is a good chance that the first few hours of the open beta may have connection issues. Granted, the previous closed betas were running really smooth. Ubisoft will have an extremely smooth launch if they are truly prepared for the masses.

The Division has already had one round of closed beta action on PlayStation 4, but this one will, obviously, be aimed at the other consoles on which the game will be coming when it releases in full form on March 8.

The preload will begin for all platforms on February 16th. So don’t wait until the day it starts to begin downloading it. Be sure to download and play the beta, especially if you haven’t already had a chance to play it. The full game releases on March 8th. I hope that Tom Clancy’s: The Division will live up to the concept that it leads us to believe. A solid, fluid, and easy to hop in, MMOFPS.
