If you are not aware, Juneteenth is a holiday within the Black and African-American community that celebrates the day that all enslaved people in Texas were considered free. It was not until June 19th, 1865 that all people in the U.S. were considered truly “free” even though the Emancipation Proclamation was signed in 1862.
To commemorate this holiday, we’ve teamed up with OS NYC to host a 13-hour charity stream that will highlight creators from the Black community and provide education around the Black Lives Matter movement.
