TNT Racers Explodes onto the PSN

Let’s face it, racing games are far more enjoyable when other people are involved. Whether it’s 4-players offline, or 8-players online, the spirit of competition always adds an extra element of excitement into the mix. TNT Racers– the latest title by Keen Games- is looking to bring that excitement to consoles by taking inspiration from classic knock-about racing titles such as Micro Machines and Mashed.

The game contains 18 different courses which are playable online and offline with up to 4 simultaneous players. Each race places an emphasis on using power ups to gain the advantage, with eliminated players being given the chance to re-enter the fray as a “Shadow Racer”. Just like Mashed’s much fabled air-strikes, Shadow Racers can take revenge on the remaining competitors, helping and hindering whoever they please.

TNT Racers boasts single and multiplayer modes, with the former offering 45 challenges across three different speed classes. Online multiplayer provides a decent selection of options, allowing players to compete in ranked, unranked and tournament variants. Platform-specific leaderboards, achievements and unlockables are also part of the package, therefore providing plenty of incentive to master all those tracks.

TNT Racers is available now on the US PlayStation Store for $9.99.
