What? What the hell is Kamigami No Triforce, you ask? Well, many of us over here in the ‘States know it as A Link to the Past.
Yes, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2 (official English title name has not been confirmed) is coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
A quote from Mr. Fils-Amie himself: “What our developers want to achieve in this new Zelda game is to reinvigorate the flat 2-D world of A Link to the Past…”
From the video, we can see that Nintendo aims to keep the bones of Link to the Past intact, but they also want to add new ideas that keep the adventure fresh. After all, that is what Nintendo’s North American President said.
Players will now be able to traverse up and down the game world using trampoline-like objects. In addition to vertical exploration, players will also be able to transform Link from his normal form to a drawing to move from wall to wall. Mr. Fils-Amie says this mechanic will play a key role to the game.
The game is set to launch this holiday season, so what do you think of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2? Worthy of all the power the 3DS has to offer? If you’re lucky enough to have the 3D Nintendo system, head over to the eShop; Nintendo has some nice 3D footage of this game.
