Naughty Dog’s heart-wrenching post-apocalyptic game, The Last of Us, was first announced at the VGAs last year. It’s now confirmed at VGA ’12 that The Last of Us will be in our hands in just a little more time.
Gustavo Santaolalla, the legendary composer behind Brokeback Mountain and Babel, took to the stage and dramatically plucked out The Last of Us‘s theme to kick off a new trailer, which ended with the game’s release date. The game will be releasing worldwide on May 7, 2013.
