The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes Gameplay Reveal

If you were a fan of the first 2 entries in the Dark Pictures Anthology, House of Ashes looks like it is going to be just as good. We were able to sit in on a presentation about House of Ashes and Supermassive is continuing to make these games better. In addition to the great storytelling and graphics, the team is continuing to elevate the various game mechanics. The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is looking like it will be the best and most accessible entry in this series. Supermassive is now including an all-new character-controlled camera which will greatly increase the ability to navigate the environment. There is also a new flight light mode that will help with exploration and discovery. For those that want want to customize their gaming experience, you are now able to adjust the difficulty level of the quick-time events. You will now be able to have a more cinematic experience or up the difficulty.

If you decide to preorder the game, you will gain access to a ‘Creators Cut’ version of the game. Here, you will be able to play through various scenes as a different character or from a different point of view.

Check out the video below for more of our initial impressions. Also, we have included the gameplay reveal from Supermassive. Let us know what you all think!
