Telltale Games Signs Publishing Agreement with Microsoft

Telltale Games, the studio behind Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island games, has penned a publishing deal with Microsoft.

Dan Connors, CEO and co-founder of Telltale, had the following to say:

“Adding console support to our acknowledged expertise in digital downloads is another positive step in our long-term growth strategy. We are pleased to expand the size of our potential audience by encompassing the Xbox 360 console consumer and bring our vision of video gaming to them.”

The deal will most likely bring a number of games in Telltale’s catalog to the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade, along with future games. While some of their content has appeared on the Arcade already (Sam & Max, Wallace & Grommit), this hopefully will allow Telltale Games to offer full-season packages for games on Xbox 360 for a discounted price like they currently do on their PC games.

Personally, I’m hoping Back to the Future will be coming to XBLA. What about you, our faithful readers? Any favorites you’d like to see?
