Anonymous members strike again. The attack made thousands of websites hosted by GoDaddy.com down due to an attack on their DNS servers. Glad we aren’t hosted on GoDaddy or else you wouldn’t get the pleasure of reading this. According to hacker group Anonymous‘ their security leader Anonymous Own3r is taking responsibility for the hacking. DNS servers went down earlier today that sparked mass tweets from angry website owners hosted on GoDaddy and anti-GoDaddy persons alike. Need some entertainment? I’d write about this on my personal blog 8bitbrit.com too, but guess what, I’m hosted on GoDaddy. So don’t be alarmed if you can’t access a majority of your favorite websites. When will they be up and live again? Who knows.
