I’m fine with confining 2016 to the ash heap of history, saving only the things worth carrying on – each other, and the things we love. In that spirit, and in fairness to the remarkably wonderful year video games had, here are my picks for game of the year in 2016.
The Game Fanatics is a nerd culture community run by a team of diverse content creators. We are the nerds our friends ask whether or not the new Mortal Kombat game slaps, which anime not to miss this season, or if that new smart TV holds up to true 4K gaming. The weebs who’ll walk you through our personal ranking of Hov’s discography, the most useless keyblades in Kingdom Hearts history, and the Attack on Titan lore without skipping a beat or scuffing our grails.
