Have you ever wondered what could make your time go by faster while waiting for it to be safe to walk across the road? Well a company known as Urban Invention just may have the solution to that; one that gamers will be particularly pleased with.
Commuters have called it “StreetPong”…while the actual product title is “ActiWait”. How the device works is that it’s a touch screen placed onto a traffic pole. Pedestrians can play a game of StreetPong with each other, from one side of the street to another. StreetPong is pretty genius!
We all know the situation: you are standing at the traffic light waiting for the light to turn green. You spend quite some time with strangers and then each one goes their separate ways. You see people but you look past each other. You feel uncomfortable and bored.
