Sure, it isn’t coming out for another month and a bit, but Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is already at the top of Steam’s top-sellers list. The game, taking Bad Company from Alaska to South America and everywhere in between, will offer gamers the opportunity to blow up everything on screen thanks to the Frostbite Engine, and will offer more of the fascinating multiplayer gameplay that the Battlefield series has always been known for.
Coming in at number two is the Mass Effect 2 Digitial Deluxe Edition and at number three is Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 2 releases today and is riding a wave of stunning reviews. An engrossing storyline, a fantastic save system that allows players to carry over Commander Shepard, the hero of the story, from the first game to the second and improved gameplay has people discussing the release of the Game of the Year in January.
Rounding out the top five are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Bioshock 2. Numbers six through ten are Star Trek Online Digital Deluxe Edition, Aliens vs Predator, Mass Effect, Global Agenda and Left 4 Dead 2.
