Steam Announces Huge Update to Community!

On August 13th, Valve announced a heck of a major update coming to the Steam Community. This massive update is aimed towards some of the best user-created screenshots, videos and Workshop items for games throughout Steam all while creating more ease for the community to chat it up about their all time favorite games.

Now every game on Steam will have a new Game Hub. These Hubs boast the most popular user-created screenshots, videos and Workshop items rated by none other than the community itself. On top of that, it combines it all with news, discussions and comments about the game all in one central location – The Hub(s).

Over the years and years, Steam has been a leading platform for the timely release and management of PC and Mac games and digital entertainment with. It’s no wonder Steam has over 40 million accounts around the world and over 2000 titles offered.

The New Steam Community is all about showing off the best content that gamer’s have created,” says Emily Kent at Valve. “With over 89 million screenshots, videos, Steam Workshop maps, levels, mods and items, plus news articles about product updates, the community has created an unbelievable wealth of content around their favorite games.”

Be sure to keep an eye out each day (August 13th through the 16th) for a preview of a new set of features. www.steamcommunity.com/community.com
