StarCraft Remastered Release Date Confirmed

Blizzard has confirmed that the highly anticipated StarCraft: Remastered will be available worldwide for Mac and PC on August 14th for $14,99. The bundle will include the core game (obviously!) and the Brood War expansion. Those who decide to pre-purchase the remastered edition of the award-winning RTS will be rewarded with three exclusive building skins along with a co-op commander (Alexei Stukov) and three iconic portraits for StarCraft II.

The three unique building skins are:

  • the Char Hive
  • the Korhal Command Center
  • the Aiur Nexus

Interestingly enough, players who opt to pick up the remastered edition of this classic title will be able to play with those who prefer playing with the original StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War games.
