While we don’t know exactly what the official synopsis is yet, it has been confirmed by Director/Writer Rian Johnson that the film will continue immediately following the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and continue off that cliffhanger ending with Rey & Luke Skywalker. Also noticed the Red font in the logo? Perhaps we can expect more “dark force” influence shown in the film? And who is the Last Jedi referring to? Is it Luke himself? Could it be Rey?

Now all of us Star Wars dorks will spend the next 11 months trying to figure out who the last Jedi is, and if word "Jedi" is plural or not.
