The huge success from Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Final Fantasy XIII-2 has definitely helped push Square-Enix in the right direction, profit wise.
At the end of the financial year, Square-Enix saw a 47 million dollar profit. This is a pleasant change from last year’s loss of 94 million.
Surely this could mean more sequels based in the Final Fantasy XIII universe, which really won’t be huge surprise when it happens. Perhaps it could bring about Final Fantasy Versus XIII a bit faster, afterall, we have been waiting a few years for it, among other games (Kingdom Hearts 3).
What would be a nice surprise is another Deus Ex game. Fingers crossed!
