Space Combat in Star Wars: The Old Republic

Bioware has been working on the Star Wars MMO for quite some time now. There is still no word on a release date but once this game hits, I’m sure it will be massive. Could this MMO be a possible World of Warcraft killer?

Straight from their website, Bioware has release a combat video. Pior to the video being released, it was thought that spacecrafts would only be used as means of travel. This latest video has proved many wrong.

The video is a shocking resemblance to games like Tie Fighter and X-Wing. Both beloved games to many, it’s a great knowing that Bioware is really doing their homework with this MMO.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is set roughly 300 years after Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic which came out for the original Xbox and PC. This will be a heavy story driven game where all characters will have voice overs.
