Sony's Awesome 'Bid for Greatness' Auction

You’ve seen Sony’s ‘Greatness Awaits’ commercial, and now you can own costumes and props from it.

The remarkably gracious idea behind ‘Bid for Greatness‘ is both a simple and awesome one. Props and other collectables from the ‘Greatness Awaits’ commercial are being auctioned off directly to PSN users. Sony is both giving back to their devoted players specifically and doing so for free, because the catch is that you don’t bid with money, you bid with trophies.

Sony's Bid for Greatness
100% more badass, still 0% with the ladies.

In the Bid for Greatness auctions, gamers who fight for their favorite game’s memorabilia will have to do so using their gold PSN trophies. Now don’t fret, the trophies are not removed from your account, Sony is merely using your gold count as your max bid.

Titles that the props and costumes come from include The Last of Us, Diablo, Killzone, Infamous and Elder Scrolls.

Be quick, Bid for Greatness is a timed auction with only a 24 hour window available to bid and many can’t wait to get their hands on a piece of history.
