Slashers: The Power Battle Slices Its Way Onto Steam Early Access

After a rousing success on mobile devices, Slashers: The Power Battle is creeping up on Steam Early Access later this month; on the 20th of October to be exact.

Slashers: The Power Battle is a fast paced 2D arcade fighter featuring weapon-based combat and takes inspiration from popular fighters such as Street Fighter 3, Last Blade and Guilty Gear.

The game features 11 unique warriors each with their own fighting styles and moves. There’s Ottoman warrior who’s an expert in slapping attacks, a giant dagger riding ninja, a Templar knight who resists and counters opponent’s attacks; just to name a few.

This 2D fighter first appeared for mobile devices, both iOS and Android, way back in 2015. It became a global hit which is why Kiss Ltd and Stun Games have decided to bring the game to a whole new crowd of gamers with the PC version.

The Power Battle is a revamped and restyled version of the mobile hit in order to bring a polished experience to the PC gaming scene. Slashers: The Power Battle includes Steam achievements and reworked control mechanism which features 4 attack buttons: Slash, Big Slash, Kick, Chaos. Through mixing various attacks, players will be able to pull off devastating combos.

There’s also a handful of modes to tackle such as Journey mode, Net-play mode (challenge players anywhere around the world) and Arcade mode.

Here’s what the founder of Stun Games, Said Galip Kortoglu, had to say:

“Slashers: The Power Battle is a truly old-school fighting game with so much to offer to both fans of the classics like Street Fighter, and all players who just want to uppercut their friends across a screen. Our warriors are eccentric, larger than life characters, and we know players will absolutely love their unique skillsets. We can’t wait to hear from the Early Access community.”

Co-Founder and CEO of Kiss Ltd., Said Darryl Still, added:

“Given the incredible levels of success Slashers: The Power Battle achieved on mobile, we’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Stun Games on the PC version. The game is already fantastic and feedback from the Early Access players can only help to perfect the experience.”
