We’re still a few days off from the November 11th launch of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but a patch has already been spotted by reviewers and players a few days before the game’s launch.
The patch “fixes some minor stability and quest progression issues,” and that players who receive the game on launch day will download it. This was likely released ahead of time so that reviewers wouldn’t hit any of those said issues and have to knock points off. It’s also good to know that they’re already on top of things.
Also talked about by Bethesda’s creative lead Todd Howard was some info on the DLC, which was said to be “bigger and more substantial.”
“We’re not going to do be doing a lot of it. Our high-level thinking is that there’ll be not as many. We’ll start hitting on everything after vacation.“
The company is said to be taking an approach to DLC much like their Fallout titles. Hopefully the DLC doesn’t consist of ridiculously over-prices horse armor like we seen in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
