Skullgirls Hits the PlayStation Network on April 10!

Peter Bartholow, Designer, Producer and Community Manager at Reverge Labs recently posted a new entry on the official PlayStation blog about the forthcoming stylized 2D fighter Skullgirls. The most pertinent tidbit of info included in the post is the long awaited release date, which is now slated for April 10, with a European release to follow “…in the following weeks.” In addition, a trial version will also be released which will feature two playable characters, three AI battles in Arcade mode, local versus play, practice mode and four tutorials. We also get our first look at another playable character, Double, in a new trailer:

Bartholow also mentioned that publisher Autumn Games will be hosting a series of tournaments throughout the spring and summer with winners being awarded one of several unique Skullgirls fight sticks from Foehammer.
