Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth Now Available for Pre-Load

Earlier this week, 2K Games officially announced that PC gamers can now pre-load Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth before it’s release this Friday, October 24th.

Claimed as a spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri, Civilization: Beyond Earth is yet another installment in the critically acclaimed turn-based strategy series, Civilization. In this latest entry, players will be taken to the distant future, where mankind has discovered habitable colonies on foreign worlds.

Familiarity in the game’s basic control scheme and foundation gameplay mechanics have remained untouched, ensuring fans of the series a pleasurable transition into this latest futuristic iteration.

Civ Beyond 2

In addition to this news, 2K Games has also announced that Sid Meier’s Civilization V will be up for grabs on Steam for absolutely no charge. This offer only runs up until October 23rd, so if you’re looking to satisfy your strategy genre hunger, don’t miss the opportunity!

Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth is out on PC this Friday, October 24th.
