You might find that a bit random, until you realize that Mr O’Neal actually starred in the game, which may be the reason he’s so interested in bringing it back.
Of course, you’re probably wondering, how is he even going to do that? He doesn’t make video games, he breaks backboards. However, Mr O’Neal is asking for the public’s help, in the form of backers. In fact, the revival of this series if going to be made of a studio comprised of seasoned veterans from the Street Fighter and Halo series. The studio making the remake is called Big Deez Productions and they’ve released a video about it.
