No Shame November – I'm A Big Mutha Trucker

This month we are featuring dirty little secret confessions from our staff here at The Game Fanatics. We all have done something shady, sneaky and totally messed to get our way in a video game. Make sure you take the time and go through all of the “No Shame November” articles from the TGF staff this month. You will be surprised what your favorite member of the staff has done.

For the majority of my high school years I lived with my father in Columbus, OH while my mother and sister moved to sunny South Florida. My dad is not much of a gamer and probably never will be. He got enjoyment out of watching me play games with deep and immersive story lines like Ico or Shadow of the Colossus. To him it was like he was watching a movie. There were those few times that he might sit down with me and play Madden or NBA Live, but it was a very seldom occurrence.

Now even though I lived with him he was always on the road because he was a truck driver so I might only see him on the weekends. I remember him comming home from one of his trips and he said, “Hey DaJuan, I bought this game do you mind if I play it on your Playstation” I said that its fine, and that I wouldn’t mind. The game was Big Mutha Truckers 2 or known in the UK as Big Mutha Truckers 2: Truck Me Harder. He never played it and he didn’t even break the seal on the game. Probably a couple months later I was sitting at the house, and had nothing to play so I asked him if he still had the game and if so could I play it. I popped that game in and had a ball with it. The game was funny from start to finish and to top it all off the it was filled with all types of sexual innuendo. It’s definitely a game that I’m ashamed to admit that I have played, but when I remember how much fun I had with it I almost forget about my embarrassment.
