Shadowrun: Dragonfall is coming to iOS & Android on December 4th.
The game is a previously PC exclusive turn-based tactical RPG, that challenged you to uncover the mystery behind a cataclysmic event called Dragonfall. Shadowrun‘s world is a mix of both sci-fi and fantasy. Think trolls and dragons, in a world with the matrix and Deus Ex style cybernetic augments.
It’s my personal game of the year one of the best RPG’s I’ve ever played. You owe it to yourself to give it a try on either tablet or PC.
Dragonfall was originally DLC for the kickstarted Shadowrun: Returns, which came to tablets last year. The expansion was released as a standalone title on PC back in January, as a Director’s Cut with new missions, endings, music, interface, team customization, revamped combat system and more.
This new tablet version includes all the new content and improvements from the PC version. Developer Harebrained Schemes call this “the definitive Shadowrun RPG experience” and it’s not hard to see why.
It can currently be bought from Steam or GOG and played on Windows, Mac or Linux. Prices and release times for the iOS and Android versions are currently unavailable, but be sure to check your app stores frequently, as the game is definitely rolling out sometime today.
