Remember the Sega Genesis? That little black box with a slot to put games in. You know, the one with one of the famous mascot, Sonic. Well, according to Gizmodo, Apple is going to release the official emulator for the iPhone. Finally, instead of leaving the system because you couldn’t save, now you can walk around it in your hands. Even though this was possible on the Playstation Portable, iPhone/iPod Touch users can now enjoy playing games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, and other games that you used to love to play. Here is the current line-up:
- Sonic the Hedgehog: $5.99
- Golden Axe: $4.99
- Ecco the Dolphin: $2.99
- Shining Force: $2.99
Now with thousand and thousands of apps already on iTunes, Sega looks to add their shine and should make many gamers happy. Which games or other emulators are you looking forward to?
