SEGA Brings Two New Sonic Forces Gameplay Videos

Sonic Forces

SEGA has just shared today a couple of new videos about Sonic Forces, the next installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog saga. These cover a couple of very relevant aspects of the game: the rental hero option as well as a new playable zone.

The first one, Rental Hero gameplay, is all about, well, lending a hero for the good cause. In Sonic Forces you have the opportunity of having a second “rental” hero joining the game and replacing your custom character. When that happens, these helpers can use their own Wispon set, adding way more playability to each level overall. The Rental Avatar feature also allows you to access other players’ heroes from all around the world.

In this particular battle, we can see two different characters using two different weapons, the Lightning Wispon and the Cube Wispon. Both characters fight against Infinite, one of the game’s bosses. Check it out!

The second one, Space Port gameplay, showcases a brand new zone inside the game.

Sonic Forces comes as an anniversary commemoration of the long-standing franchise. Developed by Sonic Team, it follows the style of the latest productions, filled with crazy races plus a nostalgic a 2.5D side-scrolling view. On top of the modern and classic versions of Sony, players can also customize their own hero. A refreshing touch, no doubt, for a series that has stayed with us for 25 years.

The game will be arriving on November 7 for all platforms: PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Any Sonic fan over here? What’s your favorite Sonic game so far and why? Are you looking forward to the next installment in the series? Let us know in the comment section down below!
