Say What? Take-Two To Announce Sequels and New IP at E3

Take-Two, the publisher best known for the Grand theft Auto and Borderlands series, is planning on being at E3 in a major way this year according to CEO Strauss Zelnick. In an interview with MCV Zelnick discuss the many things to come from Take-Two.

“We aim to get to a point where our release schedule is strong every year.” Said Zelnick. “Make no mistake about it, we’re utterly focused on bringing extraordinary franchises, plus new IP, to market on a regular basis. While we are a lot closer to that goal than we ever have been, it still remains a bit of a work-in-progress.”

It will be interesting to see what new IP’s Zelnick is referring to. Also if there will be any new news regarding franchises we haven’t heard from in a while like Bioshock, Red Dead Redemption, or Max Payne.

With the triple AAA release of XCOM 2 and the anticipated Battleborn on the horizon Take-Two aims to out due their strong start to the year. But we will all have to wait until the summer is here to see what they have in store.

“NBA 2K16 looks like it will be the most successful release in the history of the franchise.” Said Zelnick. “We have also had a great result with WWE 2K16 and with Civilization. We will be there [E3] in a big way.”
