Sanctum Now Available For Mac

This week Sanctum, the hit PC FPS/Tower-Defense game, was released for the Mac! Yay for you Mac fan-boys/girls! The intense hybrid shooter exclusive through the Steam Store is currently going for only $8.99 which is 10% off regular price. One heck of a deal if you ask me!

CEO of Coffee Stain Studios, Anton Westbergh, said, “We’re tremendously proud of how Sanctum has preformed on the PC and creating a Mac version is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time.”

Coffee Stain Studios has restructured Sanctum’s DLC in celebration for the Mac launch. The DLC includes Violator, Penetrator, and the Killing Floor (three tower DLCs). These are completely free of charge in the bundled “Sanctum Map Pack 1″.

Sanctum, if you’re not familiar with the game, is a brand new take on the tower defense genre placing the players into the chaotic gameplay of a first-person shooter. Gamers take the role of Skye, an elite soldier sent out to protect her home, Elysion One, from an onslaught of alien creatures. In order to obtain victory, players must construct and upgrade a variety of defensive structures and towers. Once the round starts, gamers jump feet first into the action.

For any more information about Sanctum, check out the game’s Steam Store page.
