Ruroni Kenshin Movie Trailer Released

Ruroni Kenshin’s follow-up movie from 2012 is set to hit theaters on September 13, 2014. This second movie will be covering the kyoto arc (where Himura Kenshin goes head to head against his greatest foe Shishio Makoto).

Ruroni Kenshin was a popular manga about a retired assassin/swordsman that was later turned into an anime. That anime then aired episodes all the way up to when Kenshin fought Shishio to the death. That is when the anime ended airing episodes in the United States.

My memory is fuzzy about if the rights we’re re-obtained by Toonami to continue airing the series after that point. I believe they weren’t considering I was a huge fan of the show and I think I would have seen the news about that announcement. I even wore a cross-cut scar on my face I made of tape to school since I am a big fan of the anime.

So if you like Ruroni Kenshin as much as I do, check out the trailer below and tell us what you think about it in the comment section!
