Rosewill came to bring the pain at this year’s Computex. Their bringing everything including the kitchen sink, they have computer cases, power supplies,wireless N adapters, and even mechanical keyboards at Computex. Rosewill is owned by Newegg, and while feelings about Rosewill products quality are those of the mixed variety.
I’m simply smitten with the brand new Throne mid-tower case they’ll be offering sometime later this year. From the pictures below the case looks absolutely massive on the inside, and the scooped top area of the case gives it a primal look. But what I believe that’s the biggest announcement out of their entire product line is the fact that they’ll be offering for the first time in the company’s history a massive 1600w power supply, which is a something you don’t see every day.
Rosewill RK-9000 and 9001 Series Keyboard:
Rosewill’s bestselling mechanical keyboards received a major upgrade since we’ve seen them last. These keyboards come in two flavors. The standard default color of matte black and the other color is a Limited Edition Ivory. While no tech specificationshave been listed on these keyboards, it’s safe to assume that they will be pretty similar to the ones of old, but with improvements. We’ll just have to stay tuned to the techno-sphere to see exactly whats changed with the 9000 series.
Rosewill Throne (Mid-Tower) Gaming Case:
Now, this has to be marketing genius, or just plain coincidence. But one their cases just happens to be named Throne, and I’m sure most of you out there immediately did what I did and began to think about Game of Thrones. But if you didn’t, oh well.
Moving on, I can tell from the picture alone that this is a mid-tower case, it has 9 Hard Disk Drive Bays (HDD), 5 120mm fans, one200-230mm exhaust fan on the top, and three 5.25in Drive bays. On the top of the case we have 2 USB 3.0 ports and what appearsto be 4 USB 2.0 ports.
That’s what I can tell from the pictures alone, because again, there are no specifications included. I am pretty confident though, it looks like a well-built case, but only time will tell.
Rosewill Platinum Series Power Supplies (PSU):
The names of these power supplies remind me of something you’d see in the Justice League. We have Fortress, Hercules,SilentNight, and Tachyon rounding out the bunch. All of these power supplies are 80Plus Platinum which means their able toperform at 80% efficiency, even while at 100% load. If you were to buy any of them, you can rest assured that they’ll be energy efficient. Unfortunately, there aren’t any specifications on any of the power supplies other than their efficiency rating, but I’m sure by the end of Computex we’ll know everything about them.
