It seems that Crystal Dynamics‘ upcoming action-adventure, Rise of the Tomb Raider, will no longer remain a Microsoft exclusive come the holiday season next year.
Announced earlier today via the game’s Tumblr page, Square Enix revealed that the sequel to 2013’s hit Tomb Raider reboot, a title that was assumed to remain a Microsoft exclusive indefinitely, will be coming to PC in early 2016. On top of this, Rise of the Tomb Raider is slated to also land a spot on the PlayStation 4 during the holiday season next year.
As of now, there’s no telling whether Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners will receive exclusive post-launch content before the game reaches Sony‘s consoles, though it’s expected that whatever content is made available on Microsoft‘s hardware won’t remain exclusive forever.
For those waiting to satisfy their adventurous itch, Rise of the Tomb Raider hits both Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10th, 2015.
