Fans of Telltale Games‘ five-part story based on the hit comic and television series can now pick up the whole Walking Dead storyline in one package. As we told you last week, you can now pick up all five parts of the award-winning game based on The Walking Dead on PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 today. The package costs $29.99 and comes with all five episodes, with a special Collector’s Edition that features an exclusive edition of The Walking Dead Compendium One: over 1,000 pages of Robert Kirkman‘s original comic book, collecting the first 48 issues, for $70. Best Buy also has some special deals: they’re the only place you can get a physical copy of the PC version, and offer a Limited Edition alternate cover for each version.
It’s been a big year for Telltale Games: The Walking Dead took home Game of the Year honors at Spike’s 10th Annual Video Game Awards for its different take on zombie games: it’s not about how many zombies you can kill, but a) whether or not you can survive and b) what kind of survivor you are, forcing you to make some very tough decisions throughout the series. It also won Studio of the Year, Best Downloadable Game, Best Adapted Video Game, and Best Performance by a Human Female for Melissa Hutchison as Clementine. And yes, Telltale Games says they’re planning a sequel.
