Round Up the Horses, a New Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer is Here

Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption fans were met with a a roller coaster of emotions, but at least there is more official release date for the sequel of the beloved game. Red Dead Redemption 2 which was originally scheduled to launch in 2017, and has been delayed to Spring 2018.

Rockstar has released the second trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2; the trailer shines a  light on its western adventure and a glimpse of world that awaits.

The main character is a man called Arthur Morgan; a troubled cowboy who has managed to run afoul of more than a few folks across the Wild West. It seems this will be the driving force of the plot with Arthur befriending unlikely allies on his quest to escape.

During the trailer you can catch a glimpse of moving trains, intense gunfights and a bit of cattle rustling, all of which will be apart of the game play.

Here is the new trailer that you can watch here:

In terms of narrative the trailer is light beyond a single conclusive quote:

“Listen to me. When the time comes, you gotta run and don’t look back. This is over.”

While the voice of these words is unknown, it is followed by the visual of seven men on horseback. These can be assumed to be the same same gang found in the game’s reveal artwork.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is launching for PS4 and Xbox One; however fans are left waiting for an official release date. Rockstar’s official website gives us a small taste of what to expect; ‘An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.’

Finally, Rockstar has confirmed that PS4 owners will be the first to receive specific online content for Red Dead Redemption 2. You can check out full details on the PlayStation Blog.
