QuakeCon 2012 Dates Announced

QuakeCon 2012 will be August 2nd to August 5th at Hilton Anatole located in Dallas, Texas. Attendance is free, thanks to support from id Software and Bethesda Softworks, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the 2012 event sponsors and exhibitors. Hilton Anatole can be reached at 1-800-445-8667. Rooms are available at $154 per night. Be sure to mention you are staying for QuakeCon to receive this special rate. QuakeCon is a Bring Your Own Computer LAN party, with thousands of gamers to play with. For those that don’t bring their own computers, QuakeCon features plenty of other entertainment, including the first chance to try out upcoming titles, hands-on. Other activities include contests, entertainment, announcements, panel discussions, parties and more. Exhibitors will be displaying their newest hardware and software. Last year’s exhibitors include Alienware, Ventrilo, at&t, Intel, nVIDIA, PNY, Fatal1ty Gaming Gear, Air Force Reserve, Cooler Master, Diamond Multimedia, inWin, Plantronics, Bethesda Softworks and others.
