Purchase a Windows 7 PC, Get a Free Xbox 360 (Students Only!)

According to the Windows blog, students will receive a free Xbox 360 4GB if they buy a Windows 7 PC over $699.

Purchases can be made in store at Best Buy or Microsoft Store retail locations with a valid student ID. Online purchaes can be made via Dell.com, HP.com or the Microsoft store as long as a valid .edu email address is used.

A 4GB Xbox 360 isn’t a whole lot considering the extra room a gamer would probably want. It’s a start though and if you’re a student already planning on buying a PC and you don’t already have a 360, it definitely sweetens the deal.

There are already plenty of distractions while in school. A computer is supposed to help but with the internet distractions that’s already one thing. I can’t imagine that adding a 360 to the mix will have good impact on studying, but hey, free is free!

The offer starts on May 22nd and goes through September 3rd.
