PS4 Pro is Powering PS4 Console Sales by 204%

Looks like Sony knew what they were doing after all. The PS4 Pro, a mid-gen upgrade to the PS4, was released to mostly positive reviews on November 10th and has aided PS4 sales. By 204% as reported by MCVUK. This is good news for Sony since Xbox One has been outselling the PS4 for several consecutive months. From the total of consoles sold for this period, 65% of them were PS4 Pro while sales for PS4 and PS4 Slim rose to 8.5% week to week.

Despite the PS4 Pro’s impressive graphical improvements thanks to HDR and 4K, the jury is still out for Sony’s answer to Xbox’s Scorpio due out next year which promises to be the most powerful console.

For now, Sony can sit back and wave that flag for now, as Shawn Layden said on a recent Live with YouTube Gaming, “Next Week, we’ll have the most powerful console out there.”
