Sony’s PS4 breezes past the FCC and reveals some tech in the process.

The documents shown gives us an idea of the PlayStation 4’s power as it has a “max clock frequency” of 2.75GHz, as shown by Engadget.

A few interesting tidbits were found by comparing the PS4 to its predecessor.

The new console is detailed as operating between 5-35°C as compared to the PS3’s 45 and 44°C, which when peaking over 60 can brick the system.

Something, something, something.

Of course, that doesn’t mean the PS4 can’t have troubles of its own but it could definitely save wear on the console.

The last detail is one we’ve already noticed, but now we’ve got specifics in regards to the PS4’s size. While the original PS3 ran at a 5kg weight, the petite PlayStation 4 weighs in at 2.8kg.
