Prototype 2 Gets 'Real' At NY Comic-Con

Fresh from a first look reveal at San Diego Comic-Con, Radical Entertainment are eager to share their creation with the world, beginning with New York. PROTOTYPE 2 takes the unsurpassed carnage of the original and continues the experience of becoming the ultimate shape-shifting weapon.  As the game’s all-new infected protagonist, Sgt. James Heller, players will cut a bloody swathe through the wastelands of post-viral New York Zero (or more simply…NYZ) with unparalleled locomotion, building up a vast genetic arsenal of deadly, biological weapons and abilities as they hunt, kill and consume their way toward the ultimate goal – to kill…Alex…Mercer!
Fans attending this years New York Comic-Con will be able to play Prototype 2 for the first time, the team at Radical have been working hard to give you something tangible and are excited to let you at it:

“A few months ago, we let our fans see PROTOTYPE 2 for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con, and nowwe have put together two great playable missions for New York Comic-Con…The first mission touches lightly on Heller’s story, while the other is something we call a ‘Rampage Challenge’ – where it’s all about the action and players can compete for the best score.  Both missions will give fans an initial taste of what’s in store when the final version of PROTOTYPE 2 comes out in April next year.”

Besides the awesome playable demo, attendee’s will be able to view the third and final segment of the fantastic CG trailer that premiered on www.Prototypethegame.com. But wait, there’s more! Activision will be out in force throughout the event weekend handing out a whole host of Prototype themed goodies, including t-shirts, posters and giant foam Heller arms.
Not content with resting there, Radical have even more ways for you to get involved in the hype. If you get yourself over to www.facebook.com/prototype to get involved in Protothingy, a monster creation tool featuring hundreds of different limbs and props to create your very own monster.
