Radical Entertainment has released a new trailer for Prototype 2, this one featuring a live action Sgt. Heller facing off against Mercer. This trailer reinforces that the story (at least initially) will be one of revenge. The trailer looks to be the start of the game, with the city being infected, and then Heller himself being infected personally by Mercer. It’s pretty neat, give it a watch:

So what do you think of this new trailer? Apart from the fact that Hurt by Johnny Cash has been overused the past few years, it’s pretty cool. Mercer looks a little off, but Heller is right on. I like the emotion Heller brings to the scene. And the effect are right on (even if they are short-lived). Look for Prototype 2 on April 24th on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and later on PC.
