Press Start | What We Played

Welcome to Press Start! This is a weekly segment where we here at The Game Fanatics share what we’ve been playing for the past week.

Nick P.:

I’ve been pillaging away at Assassin’s Creed IV. The entire at-sea gameplay is pretty rich that I think it could pass as its own game. Upgrading your ship and fending off opposing vessels is often fun, but the best nautical moments are when you board a ship you’ve weakened (and the carnage that ensues). Now that makes me feel like a pirate.

Jen:

Since I’ve finished up with all of the story arc in Star Wars: The Old Republic, I’ve decided to start playing Dungeons and Dragons Online. My DM and a few other people that I play pen and paper D&D with recommended it. The game is fun but it isn’t anything that I would spend actual money on. I played a little bit of Grand Theft Auto V but then the game froze on me again and I gave up. I’ve already beaten the game I just wanted to mess around. And I, like many others, are still waiting for that money that Rockstar promised.
