If you play mobile games, I assume you’ve heard of PopCap Games. If you haven’t and are interested, just know that they’re a pretty big deal, and are most well known for their flagship title: Plants vs. Zombies. Today, PopCap announced that the sequel to Plants vs. Zombies™ is fast approaching, as the look to drop it during the first half of 2013.
The new title is set to showcase new features, settings, and situations, set to expand upon the franchise’s already successful foundations. They’ve also got some cute quotes, supposedly from some of the game’s characters:

[quote]“There was a time we relished a bracing, hearty blend of zombies, in the morning,” said Sonny F. Lower, a representative of the Flora Forever Foundation. “But first, a brisk shower and some strategic pruning are required. Tomorrow is near!”[/quote]
PopCap has a pretty good track record with these titles, and Plants vs. Zombies is one of the largest titles in the genre. There is every indication that the sequel will be well worth the excitement of mobile gamers everywhere.
