PlayStation’s 14 for ’14 Sale Starts Today and Offers Unprecedented Deals

The PlayStation Store is discounting some of 2013’s biggest games until January 20th.

For the last couple of years, PlayStation has a New Year’s sale and this time they have really outdone themselves. 14 PS3 games and 14 Vita games are on sale in honor of the New Year and you should definitely check them out. All games are up to 50% off with PlayStation Plus members getting a further discount of up to 75% off.

Highlights include: Crysis 3 for $10 (or $5 with PS+), Spelunky for $7.50 ($3.75 with PS+), Far Cry Blood Dragon for $7.50 ($3.75 with PS+), and many more.

I’d like to highlight one of my favorite RPGs in recent memory, Tales of Xillia, that is also taking a deep discount in this sale. Normally priced at $40, it can now be purchased for $10 if you are a PS+ member. This game didn’t get the hype that a JRPG like Ni No Kuni did but it deserves it just as much.

Some of the discounts could be more substantial (I’m looking at you, Rayman Legends) but the deals with PS+ are fantastic overall.

Check out the full list to see just how great some of the discounts are. (PS+ prices listed second)
