Pirates Invading Borderlands? New DLC Info Suggests Just That

From yesterday’s patch for Borderlands 2 which involved a new character, comes some interesting info about some possible new DLC.

Gamers on the GearBox forums are sifting through the dump files of the patch and are discovering very possible details about the DLC. It has a possible name of “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty“. Now I am hoping that it is not actual treasure you are going for with a title like that…

The PC files revealed some details such as a new head for each class, possible new item rarity, new items and weapons, and new bosses and raids. Alongside this juicy info that confirms this DLC, are some achievements/trophies discovered for it. Such as Treasure Hunter – Completed the mission “X Marks the Spot”, Gadabout – Discovered all named locations in Oasis and the surrounding Pirate’s Booty areas and Completionist – Complete all Pirate’s Booty side missions.

Stay tuned for official word from GearBox sometime shortly now that we know this much. In the meantime, go kick some butt with Gaige and Deathtrap!

Update: Argh matey, tis be true!
