Oh yes, let there be Persona.It’s official. Persona 5, The latest iteration in the highly popular RPG series, Persona, is coming to PS4. We knew the game was coming out for PS3 but this announcement at the SCEJA press conference caught everyone off guard. Sony was dropping game announcements gung-ho style similarly to how they conducted their Gamescom presser but it wasn’t until we saw that Atlus logo pop up that things started to get real.
For those not familiar with the Persona series, it’s an ingenious mixture of turn-based RPG and robust dating simulator that gels together in an almost interactive soap opera but obviously much more appealing. We also catch a glimpse of what looks like the main protagonist in the newly released trailer. Not much is known at the moment but it’s safe to say that we’ll be hearing more about Persona 5 at the Tokyo Game Show on September 18.
