PAX Prime | Tommy Tallarico and Video Games Live

While at PAX Prime, The Game Fanatics got a chance to talk with co-creator Tommy Tallarico of Video Games Live. For those who are unaware of Video Games Live, it is a concert that embodies music from video games using a live orchestra. It was created by Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall with the first concert happening in 2005. Since 2005, Video Games Live has grown and with each different venue they tap into local musicians and orchestra to bring video game music to the masses. Check out our interview with Tommy Tallarico with The Game Fanatics below.

Their Kickstarter, which can be found here, is to help get Video Games Live Level 3 to the fans. Level 3 will be a studio recording of the music you love from video games. The plan is to have fifteen to eighteen tracks from such games as Portal, Uncharted, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Mass Effect, Starcraft and much more. The Kickstarter is nearly at the end. If they reach their goal, the plan is to release Video Games Live Level 3 on February 18th of next year. If you haven’t already, pitch in to the Video Games Live Kickstarter and keep an eye out for their tour next year.
