PAX Prime | Day 0, Hello Seattle!

Yesterday, day zero, PAX. I (Charles) land SEA-TAC and meet our Editor-in-Chief, Jen and writer, Will. First stop? Badge pickup. Next stop? Tacos! After filling our bellies we proceeded to the PAX Prime show floor. We were able to walk around the extremely hazardous show floor yesterday, ducking behind giant crates and dodging forklifts. We couldn’t help but stop to check out what Will called “the business.” Nintendo actually looks like they’ll be having a huge handheld presence on the show floor and playable mobile kiosks around the convention center, though no 2DS was in sight though.

I was able to sneak into the League of Legends ballroom and my jaw literally dropped. Check out my Instagram video and tell me that wasn’t awesome….because it was, and if you disagree, you wouldn’t know awesome if it slapped you on the butt cheek.

Apparently, Pokemon is ready for next gen, and to be honest, so are we. Finally, I’m just going to leave this here, because it speaks for itself.

Day 0 of PAX for the TGF crew featureda lot of sight seeing, A LOT of eating as we checked out the Fish Market, and a general good time. Today, the real work begins as we charge the show floor starting at 9am, to bring you the best, most fanatical coverage of PAX Prime 2013. Make sure you’re following @TheGameFanatics, as for me, I’m gonna try and catch a nap before we head back to the Seattle Convention Center!
