Lords of the Fallen is a dark new action-adventure game developed by Deck13 Interactive and CI Games. Likely to be showcased at PAX Prime tomorrow, the developers have just released a new trailer outlining now only the general premise of the title, but also showcasing the world in which the game will take place.
While the plot may seem somewhat blasé, revolving around a convicted felon (because he must be a flaw gray character) that is now the only hope for the world’s survivor (because despite flaws, the player still needs to feel like a superhero), the world itself is looking pretty on point. In fact, in my opinion, the visual design, from pallet to architecture, is pretty reminiscent of a vague “Diablo 2” sort of feel. Which is far from a bad thing.
With a release date of October 28th of this year, Lords of the Fallen is going to be upon us pretty soon on the PC and all next gen consoles (well, except the Wii U). It promises to give players an intense dungeon crawling/monster slaying experience.
