Made in MA is an event commemorating Massachusetts and how it’s become such an important part of the gaming industry. At this 1,000+ attendee event you’ll be sure to run into tons of like-minded individuals –and student admission is free! PAX East Republic of Gamers After Party

PC GAMER and ASUS present the PAX East Republic of Gamers After Party, featuring a special performance by The Crystal Method. Admission is free all night long and attendees will get a chance for a hands-on demo with the ASUS G750 gaming laptop!

PAX East @ Laugh Boston
(April 11th-13th, All ages & 21+)
All week you can catch cool events for all ages at Laugh Boston. On Friday and Saturday you can play at the free arcade, refuel on food and nab the free WIFI. Call of Duty coach Lance Patterson will be giving complimentary strategy sessions on Friday and Sunday and on the 11th they’re hosting a improv comedy show called Dirty Donkey Kong. Harmonix will also be throwing an awesome event Friday night with an open bar from 6-7PM and are giving away a complimentary Rock Band guitar with ticket purchase. Pro-tip: If you want a good laugh, Dov Davidoff will be performing after the Harmonix party.

Pre & Post PAX Board Game Nights

Want to rule on all mediums; cardboard, digital, or otherwise? Board game night is a good start for your complete gaming superiority. KIDDING …but this really is a great place to meet cool people, and have fun while doing it. Expect themed drinks, a great selection of games, and many friendly folk. 8 Bit Boston will be one of the most anticipated events at PAX East with tons of sponsors, raffles, lives streams, drink specials, and announcements. Indies Need Booze PAX East w/Explosions

Indie game fanatic? Then this is perfect for you. There will be food, booze, and a brutal competition between up and coming indie games. The indies are pit against one another for the title of “Best Indie Game of The Party”! Blood, sweat, tears, and explosions are all expected. Pro-tip: Get there early for some paper bag swag.

The GeGorce GTX Meetup, if you’re a PC gamer, is awesome. Aside from complimentary food and drinks, you can also enter a tournament to win prizes and GeForce swag. Pro-tip: This event is sold out as of now but they do allow walk-ins as per available venue space.

Disruptor Beam Game of Thrones Ascent Meet and Greet Party

Welcome to the Disruptor Beam Game of Thrones Ascent! We don’t care that this is a really long name, you should come to the meet and greet party anyway. Seriously though, who else are you meeting and greeting? Fellow GoTA players, as well as some of the Disruptor Beam dev dream team, will all be there. DB is announcing something big this year, so you may have something really cool to talk about there too. Pro-tip: The bar at this event is cash only!

Wolfenstein PAX East Party

What sounds better than the new Wolfenstein game, Neumond Recordings, and Pop Muzik, all at a groovy 60’s themed party? Just hearing this makes us want to flake out, put on our bell bottoms, and do the The Mashed Potato (look it up). Pro-tip: 60’s attire is optional but clearly you should.

The Dirty Nerdy Revue

Ready for some brolesque? (we immediately regret that joke) The Dirty Nerdy Revue will feature burlesque performances but with nerdy, comic, and gaming influences. The show starts at 8PM and will feature 5 different performances, as well as hold a raffle. Protip: The night before you can catch a Tim Schafer & Double Fine burlesque tribute at the same spot.

Destructoid & Harmonix Fantasia

This is going to be an epic celebration brought to you by Harmonix and Destructoid for Disney’s new game Fantasia: Music Evolved. They will be giving away prizes all night like copies of the game, an ASTRO A50 wireless headset, autographed posters by the FMA dev team, and even a custom Xbox One! Though we’re scratching our heads on the 21+ thing here, this will still be a great party to get some collectors gear and listen to the FMA game tracks before they’re released. No, you’re not having a mushroom induced hallucination. Each year there’s a Pokemon themed bar crawl with 300+ attendees called Pokecrawl. Ready to sign up?
